I am working on the calibration of a BBCEAS instrument to determine unknown trace concentrations of NO2.
For this purpose I have a gas tank with a known concentration to calibrate my BBCEAS instrument. NO2 traces are generated with a spark plug via a discharge in dry air and I want to quantify this trace amount. I want to obtain a calibration curve for the absorbance as a function of the concentration
You should employ a known reference spectrum of NO2 from the HITRAN database (www.hitran.org). if you are working in IR you can use line-by-line portion of the database if you are working in the visible/UV then you should use cross-sections. You can follow procedure described in:
