Hello,
I have been working on research regarding urban heat island vulnerability and have been looking for the right methodology to produce a map showing land surface temperature on ArcGIS using NDVI.
The best methodology I found, that was the easiest to follow was this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDQo2a5e7dM
The big problem is that I do not know how to cite this! I have tried to find journal articles that show how to calculate land surface temperature, but I just find equations that are way above my head.
I know that I need to properly cite the person or organization that developed this methodology, but I just cannot find out who developed it.
Can anyone please help me out with this? I am realizing that all of my research project will essentially be void if I can't find a way to properly cite this methodology. There are so many GIS articles about this, yet finding a methodology that is easy to follow and from a legitimate source has been very difficult.
The formulas the man from the YouTube video uses are here:
https://landsat.usgs.gov/using-usgs-landsat-8-product
But as far as how to use them in ArcGIS I am not sure how to cite the man from the YouTube video. Does anyone know how I can go about dealing with this issue?
Thank you!
