How do I biotype Streptococcus mutans?

I have done a biochemical tests by using 10 carbohydrates for many strains of mutans streptococci, but until now I did not find out how to classify it based on biotypes.. If anyone has a paper or anything can help me please refer it here.

did you try other methods such as pcr another than biochemical reaction
