Methods of synthesizing for different materials of course affect the final produced nano material. the produced nano material may has different structure ( amorphous, poly crystalline or crystalline) consequently the arrangement or the order degree will be different ( short, medium or long range order). the structure of the material controls the optical and electrical properties, No. of (pounded-free) electrons, states type (localized or extended) and the type of electronic transitions (direct or indirect). In addition to the aforesaid, there are other factors affect the produced material; the thermal literature, heating rate, cooling rate, coating rate or deposition rate, thermal aging, physical aging, homogeneity, container type (glass, silica,...etc). So the most important point is to investigate the structure properties of the prepared metal oxide and identify the produced structure phases then compare it with the structure properties of same material with different prepared method. Sure you will find different structure.

Definitely, synthesis methods affect the properties of nanomaterials. Particularly, Surface area, morphology, band gap, conductivity, etc are different for different methods. The methods having their own characters. For example, CBD method which is operating at low temperature, it also forms the chemical complexes with complexing agent, Hydro thermal operating at high temperature which enhances the rate of reaction due to pressure in side the autoclave, Sol-gel forms different stages of sol-formation and gel formation process, etc. Similarly, the methods are also affect the applications such as phtocatalytic activity, gas sensor, Solar cell etc.
You have to read the related papers of same metal oxide prepared by different methods for different applications

First of all, I am totally agree with Mr. A. Eldenglawey and Madagonda Vadiyar for the reasons. Each synthesis method will produce nanomaterials with difference characteristics (size, specific surface area, degree of crystalinity if they are crystalline material, physical and chemical properties). For photocatalysis application, those characteristics are very important in determining the photocatalytic activity of nanomaterials.

Beginning from their volumetric mass density to their structural, optical, electrical and thermal properties. Every distinct property has a significant and indication to the field of application.
