I wanted to know whether this model is designed by yours, any software or taken from solidworks tool? Because, accuracy of teeth geometry is crucial. Can you inform me please about this ?
There are several methods in well-known books. Most properly, involute and trochoid curves had been generated by Faydor L. Litvin and Peter Lynwander and etc. Therefore, we ,who cope with gear engineering field, should follow this generating methods either use softwares such as KISSsoft, Gear Agma Suite , Romax etc. or can generate using calculations with the help of C ++ , Matlab etc. If you generate with CAD software toolbox , you can make many mistakes on gear profiles. As seen in project which are showed by researcher, if you figure out space width of circular spur gear, its circular curve its not good.
Shouldn’t be too hard to implement parametric equation in CAD software. Spur and helical gear equations are given in my papers incl. Fillet, tip champfer, etc.
Dear Amirhossein Ghamarian , any researcher ,who tackle with gear geometry , should true geometry using own program or any program which is written via trochoid & involute expressions under own manufacturing method. Customer or Reader doesnt have to buy any software well-known ones.
Dear Mattias Svahn , as i told him , whenever gear engineer needs true geometry of gears he can generate himself, unfortunately most of Cad software couldn't generate successfully for any analysis .
You can code your equations in parametric editor in most commercial CAD software. I don’t see why it shouldn’t be calculated accuratly, unless the tolerance setting is wrong in the software.
Of course, I can. Unfortunately, most of numerical stress analysers dont' follow right way the way can be generated codes by them. In the beginning of my question , i wanted to put finger on the this problem. Mostly, i faced with wrong geometries within studies. I guess, you could also recognaize them.
you can draw it based on technical drawing fundamental in solidworks sketch then extrude the sketch.
but the easy way is using solidworks toolbox , first select design library, then select your standard for example ISO or ANSI, After that select Power Transmission, gear, spur gear, after that fill the spur gear properties, then solidworks create it automatically, you can save and use it.
