Practical methods for incorporating summary time-to-event data
into meta-analysis article has provided the spreadsheet and illustrative figure for such issue but is there any clear demonstration of how to input the data extracted from Kaplan-Meier curve into Excel sheet and how HR can be calculated?
Go to the second spreadsheet from the left on curve data.
First, you need the minimum and maximum follow up period in the top field
Then, you need to input the time intervals (in months!) that you used to extract the data up to the point of maximum follow up. Then, input the data on the percentage surviving for research and control in the column next to the time interval
Then you input the number of participants in each group in the (effective number) field to the right of the percentage surviving
To see the HR, go to the output spreadsheet
Also, next to the curve input spreadsheet is a spreadsheet that will reproduce your curve - which should be similar to the published curve

I tried to input the curve's data into the second spreadsheet but the system gave me all errors as final results....! I don't know why...., all the data and the entire procedure are correct! Can you help me?
