The world is changing rapidly, and warfare is no exception. The advent of generative AI is poised to revolutionize the way we fight wars. Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that can create new content, such as images, videos, and text.
If I not mistaking, USA army has AI which can simulate outcome under certain strategies, no? That kind of AI should answer to this question. Sadly some conflicts unavoidable because of humans greed, others caused by ancient history or differences in classes as some people are so poor that they have no food while others just waste it. AI might be able to predict risky areas on the globe and estimate outcomes which would allow governments to react in time and prevent some larger escalation, yet it will not completly prevent wars or stop them if humans will not wish to do so.
For AI to negotiate with humans, humans have to have clear mind. And as we know some of wars are started by crazy people or by emotions taking over. This is why I do (in most situations) agree with Mr. Keith D. Foote point of "don't believe it would have any success negotiating with humans." You cannot negotiate with someone who does not care about himself or his own people or who is blinded by idea that he will win at any cost.
