24 year young boy, admitted in CTVS department for lobectomy of left lung for hydatid cyst, biopsy report was showing e/o hydatid cyst alongwith granulomatous lesion s/o Tuberculosis. I am not getting any review article for the same in the literature except few case reports.
In Hungary echinococcosis is rare and tbc also. In our region live onehundred thousend inhabitant and I have two patient with hydatoid cyst in lung one of them in liver too and as comorbidity pulm.tuberculosis. Echinococcosis is known since years and cared, tbc is cured.
In an endemic area for both diseases, the occurrence of coinfection is possible, though unusual. Please, see some reports, including about lung lesions.

I think this event may not be so scarce and is likely underdiagnosed. Considering coinfection between "Mycobacterium tuberculosis" and parasites, there is, for example, the review by Li & Zhou (Parasites & Vectors 2013, 6:79).
