China is the country where the most coal is burned.

Coal based industries are the primary causes

The reason is that in China, coal power plants generate around 52% of the total electricity produced in the country, which is the main energy source used for this purpose, causing a high level of contamination. It is expected that by 2040 still, this type of fossil fuel will generate 45% of the total electricity to be produced in the country in that year. In 2016, the participation of coal power plants in China's electricity generation was about 72%.

China was the biggest emitter of fossil fuel carbon dioxide (CO2) because china has been depending so heavily on coal. China share bout 30 percent of the world’s total CO2 emissions . This is more than CO2 emissions by USA, India and Russian Federationthe combined .
