Having a Digital Object Identifier is a currently consistent feature of true journal publications. I wonder how to get your journal articles indexed for DOI numbers?
A good question! My experience has been that this is handled by the publisher (or a representative of the publisher). For example for my on-line journal, the DOIs are deposited by the staff at my university library acting as a representative of the publisher.

@ Soyemi_ I think Abdelrahman is interested in how to get a journal without doi registered for doi indexation. Only a few of our journals have doi in Nigeria. They have ISBN. I think I will benefit from the range of practical responses supplied.
