Gifted students are smart so you need to deal them smartly. You can involve them with new ideas or motivate them with challenges. You can also use them in research. I keep asking my students challenging questions for bonus grades. I discuss with them very tiny details as well to guide them into the desired outcome. Good luck with your gifted students.
