I have recently discovered a dodder parasitic plant (Cuscuta spp) in a tobacco plot intertwining the tobacco plant. The resulting parasitism leads to 100% yield losses in extreme cases. What could be the remedy to this, I have experience with Striga gesnerioides infesting tobacco and have developed an IPM strategy for the infected area, but this Dodder weed is new in Zimbabwe.
