While presenting a new method, say, a circuit designing approach , is the design algorithm along with the simulation results are enough ? or Do we need extra mathematical or theoretical explanations to support our result ?
I think that theoretical part is important as well, though I was not your reviewer :) Without theoretical support it might seem that it was just a luck that helped you to get good results ... or that you selected between obtained results only those convenient to your aim.
I suggest: in the "search window" here on RG choose "publications", typeset keywords "circuit design algorithm" and ENTER. That will give you a large number of papers or conference papers from your field. Many of them are free, you can download, and learn from others to include a right theory in your papers.
Hi, Mostly IC works related with kind of simulation. But you can highlight the improvement in your works wrt mathematical calculation. i am not clear on what aspects you are asking an explanation. Simple way, you can refer the previous works and just follow what they did and quote the same in your article to claim the betterment. hope it will help you a bit. Best wishes for your publication.
I think the journal template you intend to publish will guide you. But generally it takes this pattern; Title, Authors name(s), keywords, abstract, introduction follow by review of related research regarding the work, the method used to obtained the results, the result presentation/discussion and finally conclusion.
Your main contribution to knowledge should be clearly stated.
