Are there any validated methods to undergo assay and dissolution tests for sodium valproate EC tabs rather than the GC method of the BP?

Sodium valproate (SV) is a highly hygroscopic substance, standard SV should be handled with proper care. That's why BP has suggested to use GC. But if you can maintain low humidity (less than 50% RH) in your lab, then you can obviously analyze it by HPLC method..
