We have been trying to build a new experimental setup in order to investigate the thermal-fluid characteristics of supercritical CO2 in the microtube. We want to be sure that everywhere of test rig besides the test section is electrically insulated as can be seen in the attached representative figure. We think that the connection of copper pipe has to be cut in the teflon insulator, isn't it? (CO2 will be directly in contact in teflon insulator).
