How can we know if the wearable Lithium air battery is breathable enough?

I am assembling flexible wearable Li-air battery, how can we make sure the cathode is breathable ( is there any specific optimized hole diameter of the tape to follow)?, is there method to know if the product of the reaction is lithium peroxide or not other than characterization, can charge and discharge curves judge the products?
