Are you doing research on sign languages in Indonesia? Or co-speech gesture? It's not clear from your question. 

Signs in sign languages are analysed primarily as consisting of handshape, location and movement values - is this what you are attempting to 'extract'?

In sign language the phonemic unit, also known as cheremes, are described by their PCM; place in the signing space, configuration of the hand, and movement of the sign.  For example the sign for cat in ASL would be:

P: face just above the lip

C: pincher hand thumb and index coming together

M: pinching of the finger and pulling from the middle of the face toward the outside of the face.  Like pulling on a cat's whiskers.

Thank you very much for your answer. We are researching an Indonesian sign language (approved by the Ministry of Education as one of communication language between people with loss of hearing and between normal person with people with loss of hearing) for communicating stemmed words, suffix, infix, and prefix in Indonesian language into gesture (largely hand gesture). It is not co-speech gesture. There are many similarity between words, suffixes, infixes, and prefixes, that is why we guess that there might be (lower level) "visual phonemes" that build those gestures.
