I have a white diffuser being illumined by a white LED (powered by 2.8 volt constant voltage) at the back of the diffuser. When I take images of the other side (front side) of the illumined diffuser surface with a camera, I get different V channel values, each time I click. why this variation occurs and how to reduce this variation to minimum ?
I am attaching herewith the optics design and the corresponding images.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.
The variation must be due to changes in Camera parameters !
If you are using a color camera in auto mode then it might be trying to change the white balance for each click which may be changing your results. I am not sure of what else could be the reason. Browse through various options in the settings of the camera and see that ideally nothing is set to auto.
