History, wars, cultures are very sensitive and subjective in nature; for some they are heroes, for others they are villains, for example, pearl harbour 's event was a win for japanese but source of sorrows for Americans; on the other hand Heroshima and Nagasaki's bombing was the heionous act against humanity and japanese, but America can defend that act, as it was done in reaction to pearl harbour event and the war against America, but it was not proportional to that event, still nation can justify the decision; I am not blaming anyone, or not I am on the side of Americans or Japanese; whoever wins, who ever loses, who initiated and who ended the war; At the end humanity is at loss and after effects of winning and losing are so grave that centuries pass to bear the loss.
