Groundwater which are in direct contact with lagoon formation (évaporitic layers) are saline because of water-rock contact. These layers contain évaporates and salt but we can not have a rock sample from these layers in depth to do analysis so how can us determine the diffirent evaporitic minerals such as epsomite, carnalite, bischofite? Is the correlation matrix (anion cation relationship) a sufficient argument to determine these evaporitic minerals? Thanks.
