for example in my work, i should produce nanofiber mat via in situ polymerization (addition polymerization). i use several material as carrier in electrospinning. now, i produce nanofiber but i dont know how much polymer exist in my nanofiber? :-(

what can i do for calculate polymerization yield?

my polymer not dissolve in any solvent.

so i synthesise pure polymer and collect its FTIR spectra. i know that N-H peak is specific peak for my polymer that not react with other components. can i calculate height of this peak in pure polymer(H) and nanofiber(h), then report h/H ratio as percent of polymer in my nanofiber?
