I hope you are all fine,
As a part of my Ph.D. I'm trying to simulate eletroplastic effects on forming of titanium alloys. I'm trying to use crystal plasticity but I'm not sure if it is applicable for this problem! Can CP captures all the effects of electrical current during deformation of titanium alloys? Is this method accurate or there are other methods with higher accuracy, like molecular dynamics? Anyone can share his or her knowledge regarding this issue would be really appreciated.

You can try to set the critical resolved shear stress (CRSS) of the slip systems
as a function of the electric current.
I use the crystal plasticity FEM included in the MOOSE framework
from Idaho National Lab.
I developed modifications in which the CRSS is a function of a temperature field
and you could do the same for your electric current field.
