I am trying to find out the ways to improve a human relationship through design. In the research, there are a few senses that can enhance the relationship. Hence, architects can consider these senses in their designs to connect the community.
I think the senses will make the negative or positive relationship to people. Actually, design can address that, for example, if people live in a poor landscape city ( no green park, few gardens, no outdoor activity space, no entertainment, etc.), people will be no many meetings, outdoor activities and poor connection each other. So the design will help to encourage and direct people behavior that will influence their relationships.
Thanks Zenly, However, in some report, (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0277953610000924) , even people have parks , space or out door activity places, there are no evidence to prove that citizens will use these places
Senses affect the process of executing individual's action in the built environment. So considering the relationship between the built environment and individual action and effective factor in this relationship can help you. Theory of Affordanc argue about this issue.
