How can SAR image segmentation by morphological methods be an object-based approach?
An simple example is Watershed transform based segmentation. The general example for Watershed segmentation is:

Attached a paper using morphological methods (open, close, distance transform, and watershed transform) to segment cell image. I hope it's a good example for segmentation based on morphological methods.

You mean eCognition? If so, since I have no experience in eCongition software, I can't give you the exact answer whether we can do morphological methods in it. Most of time, I use Matlab to develop and implement algorithms.
I know that eCognition is a convenient tool to process geoscience data. But my understand is that, if we want to do some customized and complex processing, Matlab is a better solution.
If you want to figure out how to do it in eCognition, you can try to search some morphological mothed key words in eConginition such as 'erode', 'dilate', etc. If eCognition can't do these simple morphological processing, I don't think it can do watershed transform.
Anywhere, I am not expert in eCognition, I can only provide my understand. Hope it helps.

morohological segmentation is based on morphological algebra (field of mathematics) not in the object oriented approach (field of computer science). Mathematical morphology recongnize objects ( image objects not oo) based on operations like erosion and dilations and others.
But i want definition all of them in object base classification
