Currently i work in recommendation area. I want to evaluate the Performance of my method compared with other method. I have many contribution in my research ( I obtain 5 features from user and item matrix, as well as i got the latent factor from images in cold start problem ). I used same dataset in all comparison methods. So my question exactly is Ist important to add my contributions also to other methods or just uses the same dataset in all comparison methods.
