The idea of happiness is different for everyone. I have never understood people who “expect” happiness, or “dream” about it. Most often it looks like pursuit of pleasure. For the rational person, this is not so. Remembering some moments of own life, you can say that this was happiness. As a rule, these are very simple things.
For me, happiness is when everything is in order. So, happiness is the absence of unhappiness. It is impossible to live permanently in a state of happiness - these are still “moments”.
Its a game of mind set. I think If we involve ourselves in doing productive things all times, it gives us satisfaction and happiness too. Other things which we have to follow is some exercise, running, yoga and meditation on daily basis. Additionally, it is also good to read some good books of the people who have proved their worth in front of the world.
For this, an UNEXPECTED and very joyful event should occur.
For example, recently by fly-casting I caught a chub with a weight of 6.5 kg. According to Leonid Sabaneev - an expert in fresh-water fishing such a huge chubs do not exist in nature. For me it was a happiest day during the last 5.5 years.
Accept yourself as what you are without any caveats and conditions; make up your mind to be happy and always seek out the positive aspects of a situation to attain everlasting happiness.
Happiness is relative. Someone may feel happy about something. The same thing does not make anyone happy. Not necessarily what makes me happy makes you happy.
Real happiness comes with gratitude and contentment. Materialistic things only bring temporary happiness. As a human nature, we always demand more and more but that's not the case.
Gratitude is crucial in attaining happiness. One should be grateful for the current manifestations in his/her life to manifest more. If one is always thankful, he/she will receive more reasons to be thankful.
