Context - I am an International Relations student, and President of the International Relations Society, at the University of Exeter.
I'm currently undertaking a week long group research project, and this is our starting question.

From what I have studied, I can say that military technology can sure help with climate mitigation. Military's field kitchens and mobile hospitals can provide humanitarian assistance, the drone and satellite imagery facility can be used to monitor areas leading to deforestation and flooding, buildings and infrastructure can be made earthquake and flood proof and so on. Also sensors can be placed to measure pollution and humidity levels.
