Hi everyone,

I am expressing MICA antigen in HEK 293E and HEK 293F cells. MICA is an extracellular glycoprotein abundantly expressed on the cell membrane of solid tumours with a theoretical MW of 31.6 kDa. After two rounds of expression in these cells in free style medium (serum free medium), I get bands at 150 kDa on both coomassie and western blot. I am trying to unerstand how this could be possible. The transfection was done with PEI, OPTIMEM and my DNA.
