Machine learning technology can improve the issue of facial recognition accuracy in online applications and online systems while ensuring a high level of privacy, independence, cyber-security and acceptance of users, Internet users, citizens if the biometrics system of facial recognition is properly organized with secure storage of data on individual Internet users. The key issue, therefore, is the involvement of tools and systems to ensure a high level of cyber security so that facial recognition systems operating in online applications will not be an easy target for cybercriminal attacks so that the data of Internet users, including certain applications available on the Internet, will be adequately protected from cybercriminal attacks and sensitive data of citizens will not be stolen by cybercriminals. Facial images and other biometric data of Internet users should also be a matter of secure archiving. This issue is particularly important, because if cybercriminals steal images of individual Internet users from such biometric systems, the risk of using these facial images to create deepfakes, the generation of which also uses applications available on the Internet equipped with generative artificial intelligence technology, which may result in defamation, damage to the reputation of a particular person, increases. In view of the above, a particularly important issue is the effective use of generative artificial intelligence technology to build more secure information systems, with the aim of improving cyber security instruments for information systems that have access to the Internet.
