By using Machine Learning algorithms we can analyze vast amounts of data generated by students interactions with the online learning platform. This includes data on login times, session durations, course progress, assignment submissions, quiz scores, final score etc. And when we identified patterns then we can trained machine learning models to predict future behavior of student and after that on the bases of student behavior we holds immense potential for improving educational outcomes by enabling personalized support, enhancing teaching and learning practices, recommending additional resources, and fostering student success and retention.

The use of LLMs is becoming an increasingly common practice, whether for the purposes of training courses or for specific training and training in the corporate environment. What we have to plan is what we really want to observe in these courses or training. For example: I need to observe whether students are managing to develop satisfactory skills to solve logical reasoning or calculation questions or whether they are able to develop an essay using grammar and spelling satisfactorily. Understanding the objective, we can then personalize the data (data dictionary) so that after modeling and processing we have sufficient conditions to, through data mining, find predictive factors of success. See this is just an example. There are many other things we can do based on the data generated by online learning platforms.

It is just interesting how learners have to deal with technological innovations (software linked to social media platforms), which can be a great source of distraction for effective learning. Determining these patterns and behaviours can therefore be a good source of selective and predictive learning with specific outcomes.

There is no way, nowadays, to keep students away from issues involving technology, especially when access can be via mobile applications. Just as an example, look at the number of educational solutions based on gamification or that support resources involving artificial intelligence.

The big challenge is keeping students’ attention on the learning path. I have seen a huge percentage of students abandoning learning platforms or educational projects that are not attractive.

I believe that the challenges for developing a learning path, which guarantees access and maintenance of knowledge by both the student and their teachers, will be those based on focus, retention and motivation.
