I think we should be cautious when talking about the idea of a curriculum as such in the context of preschool. The point is to resist the pressure of transforming the preschool into a structured pre-primary structure which will impact negatively on the creativity capacity of young children. We do have this big issue in Mauritius whereby, the primary schooling and even parents are so adamant at putting children in stressful situations.
I think it is an important discussion, Martin Auchor Omoding but many works published in the literature that are based on play pedagogy, which can contribute to the organization of the curriculum promoting the development of children. Evidently without emphasis or pressure on conceptual issues that overlap with education broader than issues of teaching. In experience in the area of scientific education, play pedagogy allows an approximation of scientific themes, but allowing observation, questioning, imagination, creativity based on the children's interest and curiosity.
