I am trying to model a circular rigid footing on a soft soil in undrained conditions using Abaqus by modeling of soil using  Tresca failure criteria. However, by using Mohr-Coulomb model with Phi and Si both equal to zero and only a cohesion value is given (as well as soil elastic modulus and poisson's ratio) the programme stopped after applying displacement due to an error message while it did not stop using Mises criteria. Should I go for writing a code for Tresca failure criteria. If anyone has an easier solution. Thanks
