Hello Everyone, I am facing trouble to download GRACE data. When I click the button, the cursor is revolving but data is not downloaded. Can anyone help me how to fix this issue or error is occurred from GRACE server.
GRACE gives you the time-variable component of the gravity field, which can be written/expressed in terms of changes in the total water storage. Total water storage includes surface water, groundwater, snow water, canopy water, and soil moisture. You must identify the relevant compartments of total water storage for your region of interest. Then remove estimates of these water compartments from Total water storage change from GRACE. For example: GW = TWS - Soil moisture - surface water - canopy water, for a semi-arid region. Please take care that the GIA signal should also be removed from GRACE fields, either you must do it or the data centres would have already done it for you.
you can use GRACE gridded data from various centres, GFZ JPL CSR... Or you can process the spherical harmonic coefficients yourself and remove various components such as soil moisture... However, the results (accuracy and the spatial resolution) would be affected by the post-processing methods used. @ Reyadh Albarakat with regard to the grace data from the address given, i downloaded the data and imported to arcgis software environment but the image is upside down how can i corrected it

The GRACE mission does not provide the groundwater component separately, But you will need further processing for separation. Actually, this is done by observing changes in the Earth's gravity field
However, you can download the Total Water Storage Column (TWSC) (Surface + Ground + Soil + Snow) from the following Site (Provided by JPL)
The time-variable component of the gravitational field is provided by GRACE and can be defined or represented in terms of changes in the total amount of water stored. Surface water, groundwater, snow water, canopy water, and soil moisture all contribute to total water storage. For your area of interest, you must determine the necessary water storage containers. After that, delete the estimations for these water compartments from the GRACE total water storage change. For a semi-arid environment, for instance, GW = TWS - Soil moisture - Surface water - Canopy water.
