Me and my fellow researchers are currently in the process of creating a research paper which studies how the level engagement of students have with Facebook pages (pages disclosing issues in their respective secondary schools) can correlate with their perception of their learning environment. In this case, we have taken interest in using the Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) as we believe that the dimensions and survey items it contains matches our paper. However, DREEM is usually used with medical students. Do we need to revalidate the instrument with our target population through pilot testing?
