I have wastewater containing high concentrations of nitrite (2 mM), ammonium (4 mM) and ferric ions (20 mM), along with some organic compounds such as acetic acid and ethanol (COD = 1500 ppm). The pH is around 4 to 4.5. I want to treat the NOx-N and NH4+ - N from the wastewater in order to regenerate the ferric containing water for recycle.

What should be the appropriate treatment method (chemical or biological) that can be applied?
