I wanna test some volatile compounds from bacillus bacteria by using GCMS with SPME sampler. My main problem is how can I grow the bacteria, what kind of bottles or flasks need to use, how much volume of bacterial culture is enough to take the sample. What methodology should I follow during fermentation of bacteria to get a good sample? Please guide me.
