I need to synthesize citrate-capped Ag nanoparticles with 1.5 wt.% solid content.

Every time I have tried, the obtained dispersion has been unstable. I have changed pH, Temp, other variables. Again aggregation...

In the literature, stable dispersions have been reported for much lower concentrations about 0.1%.

A solution might be the synthesis of dilute Ag dispersion followed by evaporation of water or centrifuge/redispersion. But, I prefer not to do so.

Any other method giving rise to negatively charged Ag particles can be useful in my case as well.

Thank you so much in advance for your answer.

Hossein
