Are you interested in the hot deformation behavior or you want to study the behavior at ambient temperatures? The methods that apply to conventional alloys can be used on on high entropy alloys as well. For hot deformation behaviour, isothermal compression testing on the Gleeble is a very good technique.
AS you know, deformation behavior is strongly related to the microstructural evolution during plastic deformation. Moreover, in recent, HEA usually designed with plasticity-enhancing mechanism such as TRIP and TWIP. Thus, microstructural analysis should be investigated during plastic deformation of your alloys. I recommend XRD and EBSD experiments according to tensile strain. Especially, EBSD gives a lot of fruitful information, such as phase transformation, dislocation density changes (GND, subgrain structure), mechanical twinning formation (through detecting CSL boundary).
After you observe the microstructural changes according to tensile strain, finding relation between microstructural development and strain hardening rate produces deep-discussion on your research.
