I wish to get a terminal velocity of falling sand grain in stationary water in COMSOL.
I already calculated and gave the weak form of the N-S equation with porosity and drag force in COMSOL PDE.
I just want to know if is there any way to simulate this model.

I would like to share my approach based on my research on CFD-DEM modeling for simulating fluid flow in porous media, like seepage in sand. I utilized a combination of different tools and techniques to achieve this simulation.
Firstly, I employed a DEM (Discrete Element Method) code that is based on the Particle Flow Code in 3D. This code allowed me to model the behavior of individual particles within the porous media.
For simulating the fluid flow, I utilized COMSOL, a powerful multiphysics simulation software. In the context of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), I modified the Navier-Stokes equation to incorporate the effects of porosity and body forces resulting from the presence of particles.
To integrate these CFD and DEM concepts and enable simultaneous simulation, I used Python. Python served as a versatile programming language to interface between the different simulation tools, allowing for seamless communication and data exchange.
I hope my experience and the approach I took in this type of modeling prove helpful to others working on similar problems.
