I am beginner in passive component design and I need design an integrated Balun at 30-60GHz, my question which simulator (HFSS, CST, IE3D, Comsol) is better? And what are the best references for a beginner.

ADS momentum is also good choice for passive balun design! we can extract s2p file from momentum result to schematics cell and compare it with ideal balun and optimise it for best result.
It depends which kind of balun you want to design..
