i would say the right way to go is with adams + lifemod software. i doubt that simmechanics will be enough for this. rather than that a full 3d rigid body software like adams should do it AND it can be connected to MATLAB too so take a look at it.

Simulate the human body and the exoskeleton together is not a trivial task (you need a forward dynamic simulation of human body, the connection model between the human body and the exoskeleton, and the exoskeleton model).

Some CADs programs (CREO, SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor) can export the model to SimMechanics http://es.mathworks.com/products/simmechanics/features.html#importing-from-cad . After, you can connect the SimMechanics model (where you keep the model interface, weights, inertia of body's…) with the Simulink model.

On the other hand, Biomechanics of Bodies (BoB) is the human musculo-skeletal system within Matlab / Simulink capable to work in inverse dynamic mode. You can take a look  of this: http://www.marlbrook.com/index.html

As for the human body model, so far I cannot find the human body model exported from solidwork which can work in simmechanics. I mean I got the articulated human body model, opened in solidwork and then exported to simmechnics.

Unless the human body is regarded as humanoid robot (use humanoid model), than the model is runable in simmechanics.
