The number of wireless devices that use 2.4GHz ISM band can effect on Wireless sensor network using the same frequency band. For that reason, we have to investigate that kind of interference.

I recommend you to read the papers below. They present studies on the degradation of communication quality in IEEE 802.15.4 radios under Wi-Fi interference (and other interference sources, such as microwave ovens). Maybe you can find models to simulate co-existence in other papers. You can also use the experimental results described in the following papers to implement some model that captures the effects of the interference sources in the IEEE 802.15.4 (Zigbee) network.
