How can I separate water soluble fungal pigment from medium?

Endophytic fungus isolated from plant sources produces yellow pigment which is diffused to the medium. Is there any simple method available for separation of pigment?

Hi Shyam: You can use Ethyl acetate. and it dependent on which fungal, the are many protocols for extraction.For Fusarium i have use Ethyl acetate to extract the pigments from liquid medium.
