This is a tricky problem. Acrylic acid (AA) is always problematic one to handle. It would have been easier to suggest a solution if the major component were known.
Assuming that the major component is 4-methoxy-phenol, neutralisation of AA with aqueous Na2CO3 and then extraction of phenol with an organic solvent like diethyl ether / ethyl acetate , could be the solution.
