Hello everybody: Please I need to help me with this fact. We are making HAP ( hydroxyapatite) but we now need to make nano- HAP . Anybody known how we can reduce the size. The process is a sol-gel process.
Pablo Bonilla Valladares Hi. commercial hydroxyapatite is very heterogeneous with respect to size. You could do differential centrifugation to isolate the HP size you are after.
You can try filtration by using smaller holed seives to obtain small sized hydroxyapatite crystal
