I am setting up a map template to automate map production at global scale using ArcGIS 10.3, and some problems arise when displaying countries at the verges (longitude) of global map (i.e. Pacific islands such as Fiji). I successfully manage to run the data driven pages tool to produce bulks of maps but when getting those countries at the verge of global map it zooms out to a global map view (because some parts of the country may fall in the "left side/limit" and other in the "right side/limit"). It's a little bit tricky and I thought that maybe using a spherical based coordinate system I will manage to sort it out, won't I? Does anyone come up with other suggestion?

your question is not clear to me; can you give more detail about the problem facing you?
did you check and use grid index features? and also try to use bookmarks.
Grid Index:
The coordinate system of the ouput feature class is determined in this order.
If a coordinate system is specified by the Output Coordinate System variable in the Environment Settings the output feature class will use this coordinate system.
If a coordinate system is not specified by the Output Coordinate System the output feature class will use the coordinate system of the active data frame (ArcMap is open).
If a coordinate system is not specified by the Output Coordinate System and there is no active data frame (ArcMap is not open) the ouput feature class will use the coordinate system of the first input feature.
If a coordinate system is not specified by the Output Coordinate System, there is no active data frame (ArcMap is not open) and there is no specified input features the coordinate system of the ouput feature class will be unknown.
Input Features can be points, lines, polygons, or rasters.
When you select Use Page Unit and Scale, Map Scale becomes a required parameter.
When using the tool dialog, changing the polygon width or height values when Grid Origin Coordinates have been specified, the number of rows and columns change automatically.
When you add Input Features, the Grid Origin Coordinates are automatically calculated.
Consider saving your output feature class to a geodatabase. Though saving the output to a shapefile is supported, if you intend on calculating spatial references for index layer features using either the Calculate_Central_Meridian_And_Parallels or the Calculate_UTM_Zone tools the generated coordinate string results may exceed the field character limits (255) of a shapefile.
When Use Page Unit and Scale is selected, the Polygon Width and Polygon Height units automatically change to the page units set in the active map document. If you are using the tool outside of an ArcMap session the units default to inches. Though you have the option to specify map units, such as meters or miles, you should use units that are appropriate for your page.
When Use Page Unit and Scale is selected the map scale defaults to the scale value of the active data frame on the page layout of the active ArcMap document. If you are using the tool outside of an ArcMap session the scale defaults to 1.
For best results all input feature layers and feature classes should be in the same coordinate system as the data frame, or if you are using the tool outside of an ArcMap session, all input feature layers and feature classes should be in the same coordinate system as the first input feature layer or feature class in the list.
Interesting problem. If I understand correctly, you want to produce a map series for some countries, some of which fall into both hemispheres (western and eastern) and this is when Data Driven Pages zoom out to the global extent?
Well, I'm not sure if simply changing to spherical coordinate system will do the trick. I'd rather use world sphere-based c.s. and change the central meridian to 180 deg. The question will remain: how to do it automatically for map series, where only some maps should have central meridian set to 180. I'd try with Python scripting, e.g. by first calculating central meridians for all map pages and then manually zooming to each page while changing central meridian in the same time. Should be doable with Python (arcpy).
Curious to see, though, if any simpler solution can be found out-of-the-box...
PS. Not a solution, just a note: web maps will probably solve the problem (as they usually "wrap" the globe around 180 deg...

Thanks you all guys. I found a solution within Data Driven Pages tool. Jan Burdziej put me in the right direction. Within the Data Driven Pages tool window you have an option to vary the spatial reference system throughout your map production. There are three options, but the simplest one is to create a field in the attribute table of the index layer to specify what coordinate system should be used to display each feature (in my case countries). Use the conventional number assign to each coordinate system or point to the prj field corresponding to each coord system. Obviously the first option is less computing intensive. In optional fields of the Data Driven Pages tool you have the additional options including "spatial reference". Display the dropdown menu and choose "field" option and point to the field which set the CS code.
As Jan said, it can also be done using arcpy, but this option is quite more simple.
