Concerning phosphatidyl coline or the so-called lecithin use in microbiological research ,it is important to simulate the in vivo conditions. Survival of probiotics in differnt concentrations of the bile salts is very mandatory criterion.Anyhow note the following article

You may try dissolving first in DMSO or mix with cyclodextrin.  Try more than a single dextrin reagent.

Thank you so much. I was thinking of DMSO as well. Would you know what concentration of DMSO is non toxic to microbes any chance?
