I made a graphene suspension after sonicating synthetic graphite powder in DI water ( 100 mg graphite powder in 100 mL in DI) for 1 h. Can I oven dry it prior to the BET analysis?
Thank you
Freeze drying the sample should help you to avoid re-stacking of the platelets.
After this, you should heat up to some 150 degC at high vacuum for degassing.
Hi;
The sample should be lyophilized. You should also degas your sample for at least 16 h at a low temperature so as not to alter your sample.
With my best regards
