I am willing to image latex beads under phase contrast microscope. I have suspended solution of latex beads from Sigma. I want to know good procedure to make a slide with latex beads and covering with a glass slide. I have tried drying the suspension on slide and then a drop of PBS solution and covering with cover-slip. I find difficulty to get good sample in this way. Could someone suggest the better procedure to prepare the sample ?

When working with laser tweezer systems I was preparing colloidal dispersions within a microscope slide.
The procedure we used and seemed to work favourably was to place a few drops of the dispersion into the depression of a concave depression slide, and then sliding a cover slip into position (dropping the cover slip down tended to result in bubbles. The cover slip could be slid off and back on again if more sample was needed or if bubbles were trapped. Once the cover slip was in place, a small dab of nail polish was put on each corner to hold it in place and given a moment to dry, before sealing around the entire edge with nail polish.
