I calculate the pressure in some discrete points along a complicated geometry curve. The combination of the following tools brings me the pressure values.

1) Edge_3D (which is selected from the Data_Sets node) and

2) Line Integration (selected from the Derived_Values node) .

Concerning these values along the curve, I would like to project the corresponding points on a 2D plane, so that I can measure the horizontal distance between the points and the start. So far, I am only aware of the curve length till the point at which the corresponding pressure value is located.

Which COMSOL tool fits better?

Could it be useful to use one of the following Component Couplings?

General Extrusion,

Linear Extrusion,

Boundary Similarity,

Identity Mapping,

General Projection,

Linear Projection

If so, which does belong better to the occasion?

P.S. Is there an alternative way to do this?

Thank you in advance!
